Terms & Conditions

In these general terms and conditions, the terms indicated by a capital letter have the following meanings:

 

DEFINITIONS

  • “Terms and Conditions”: these general map terms and conditions of the organization of FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships 2026.
  • “Ticket”: an admission ticket to an event day.
  • “Agreement”: The agreement between the purchaser and the organization of FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships 2026 for the purchase of one or more tickets. The Federation Internationale de Gymnastique (FIG), The Dutch Gymnastics (KNGU) and TIG Sports & Events are the organizers of the event.
  • “Event” means the event for which You have purchased a ticket, indicated by date, time and stadium.
  • “Access Prohibition”: the prohibition described in these Terms and Conditions.
  • “You or Your”: the person who concludes or has concluded an Agreement with the organisation FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships 2026.
  • “Website”: the ticket shop of the organisation of FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships 2026.
  • “Visitor”: the person who uses a ticket and attends the event.

 

By
agreeing to the terms and conditions, you agree to the following terms and conditions, card conditions, access conditions, the privacy policy and the regulations.

  • In the event of cancellation, abandonment, cancellation or cancellation of a competition, the organization cannot be held liable. The cost of the entrance fee will not be reimbursed.

  • The organization of FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships 2026 reserves the right to deny individuals or organizations access to the event location in advance without giving reasons.
  • Visitors are obliged to follow all instructions on (warning) signs and instructions from the organization and employees.

 

 THE AGREEMENT

  • The Agreement is established when the purchaser has completed the purchase process for a Ticket on the Website and the purchaser has received a confirmation email including the corresponding Ticket from the organization of FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships 2026.
  • In the ordering process, the purchaser provides the personal data that the organization of FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships 2026 needs in order to deliver The purchaser a ticket. The organization of FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships 2026 will do its utmost best to make sure all information in the purchasing process is correct and actual.   • Every Agreement is concluded exclusively in Dutch or English and is electronically archived by the organization of FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships 2026 . The purchaser can request a copy from the organization of FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships 2026.
  • In the context of the Agreement, payment of the purchase price grants the purchaser access to a (sporting) Event that is held at a specific time and date. The Agreement is exempt from the legal right of rescission. After purchase, the purchaser cannot return the Ticket to the organization of FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships 2026.

 

PRICE AND COSTS

  • For each ticket you owe the purchase price to the organization of FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships 2026.
  • Costs depend on sport, day, session and type of visitor.

 

CARD CONDITIONS

  • Each Ticket is proof of a right of access to the indicated Event for one adult or child. The ticket will be issued to you by the organization of FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships 2026 before sending you an e-ticket with a unique barcode with the confirmation email.
  • To gain access to the relevant event site, you must enable a member of staff to scan the barcode on the Ticket. Each barcode can only be scanned once per location. You are responsible for keeping your Ticket safe enough that someone else is unable to show the barcode at the entrance of the relevant event site.
  • The organisation of FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships 2026 does not guarantee that all matches part of the Event will be played on the date and time indicated on the Ticket. If the Event is cancelled for any reason, the organisation of FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships 2026 is not obliged to refund the purchase price of the Ticket to You.
  • You may purchase a maximum of 10 Tickets per transaction. Reselling, transferring tickets, offering or advertising tickets for resale or transfer, free of charge or for a fee, is strictly prohibited. However, it is allowed to:
    • Transfer tickets to other natural persons (whose data will be linked to the tickets online) provided that:
    • The tickets for personal use are;
    • this transfer will never be made for a fee that is higher than the price of the ticket as published, plus a handling fee (if any) paid by the cardholder; and
    • third parties agree to the applicability of these General Terms and Conditions by transferring Tickets.
  • Tickets may be resold to immediate friends or family without a mark-up. If You resell a Ticket, You must inform the buyer that he/she must comply with the Terms and Conditions. You guarantee that the buyer actually does this.
  • Tickets may not be used for business purposes. If You are a company and wish to purchase tickets for the Event for inviting guests or for other business purposes, You must contact the organization outside of the Website. Get in touch via tickets@rotterdam2026.nl.
  • The organization of FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships 2026 can deny Your access to the event site or have You removed if, in the reasonable opinion of the organization of FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships 2026 , You act in violation of one or more provisions of these General Terms and Conditions + House Rules. If the organization makes use of this right, your right to access one of the event sites will expire without you being entitled to a refund of the purchase price.

 

ACCESS REGULATIONS

  • You are obliged to show your ticket at the first request of the police or authorized employees of the location in question and to follow any instructions provided to you immediately.
  • You will not be able to access areas that are not intended for general public access.
  • You are not allowed to obstruct the flow of traffic on the various event sites. In any case, this means that Your use of entrance, stairs, aisles, and landings is limited to the use that is strictly necessary for entering or leaving the location.
  • When entering the relevant event site, you must not be under the influence of alcoholic beverages and/or narcotics. In case of reasonable suspicion of such a situation by the controlling staff, you may be denied access to the tournament.
  • Offering for sale or possession of merchandise such as drinks, food, souvenir items, T-shirts, scarves, flags is not permitted on the event grounds.
  • The possession of bottles, glasses, cans, sticks, banners with, in the eyes of the controlling staff, discriminatory provocation or advertising texts, chains, blowing, stabbing or punching weapons, fireworks, or other objects and means that can be used as a weapon or as a means to disturb the peace is not allowed on the various event sites.
  • You are not allowed to throw an object or liquid on the event site.
  • You are not allowed to carry or use any equipment with you on the event site which, in the opinion of the employees, causes or may cause unnecessary nuisance or nuisance to others or may be dangerous to another person or property, including substances that make excessive noise such as a foghorn or horn.
  • You may not behave in a provocative or threatening manner on the event site or create any danger to the life or health of yourself or others, or behave in such a way that you may cause damage to the relevant event site, such as climbing light poles, fences, roofs, boarding and other equipment or structures.
  • It is forbidden to bring dogs and other animals to the event site. This prohibition does not apply to guide dogs and assistance dogs.
  • By using Your Card, you accept that You may be searched by the police and authorized personnel and that they may confiscate any items found with you that are not permitted to be possessed on the basis of these Terms and Conditions.
  • When entering the event site, security checks take place.
  • Upon entering the site, the visitor agrees that one can be photographed or filmed, both for commercial and security purposes.

 

ACCESS REFUSAL

If the organisation of FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships 2026 has exercised its right as described in the Ticket Terms and Conditions, it may impose an Access Ban on You. This prohibition means that you are not allowed to visit any of the events of FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships 2026. The extent of the Access Refusal Rule depends on the seriousness of the conduct that has led to the denial of access or the removal of one of the event sites. An Access Refusal Order will be notified to you in writing.

If the organisation of FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships 2026 has imposed an Access Ban on You, you can submit an objection to this to the organisation. The objection does not have a suspensive effect. The objection must be sent in writing and by registered mail. The notice of objection must be received by the organisation no later than 14 days after the date of the Access Refusal Order. If you submit the objection too late, the organization will declare your objection inadmissible. The organisation will decide on an admissible objection within 30 days of receipt and will communicate its decision to you in writing.

During the term of the Refusal Order, you may not purchase Tickets. If you do have a Ticket, the organization of FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships 2026 is not obliged to grant you access to the Event.

 

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY/INDEMNIFICATION

  • The organization of FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships 2026 is not liable for any damage you suffer during your visit to the Event.
  • The liability of the organization of FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships 2026 for the damage You incur in connection with an attributable or non-compliance with the Agreement by the organization is limited to the total amount You have paid to the organization for the tickets in question.
  • The liability of the organization of FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships 2026 for damage that has arisen due to intent or gross negligence of the organization of FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships 2026 or its board is not limited.
  • You indemnify the organisation of FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships 2026 against any financial loss it suffers as a result of your failure to comply with one or more provisions of these General Terms and Conditions, such as failure to comply with the entry regulations.

 

OFFICIAL RESELLER

The validity of the ticket is only guaranteed in case of purchase from an authorized Reseller or from the Organizer. The burden of proof in this respect rests with the Ticket Buyer.

 

MISCELLANEOUS

  • The organization of FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships 2026 has partially outsourced the execution of the agreement to CM Tickets. CM Tickets can perform its obligations under this Agreement on behalf of the organization of FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships 2026 .
  • The Agreement is governed by Dutch law.

CONFIRMATION OF YOUR ONLINE PURCHASE

EXCHANGE AND REFUND OF ENTRANCE TICKETS

  • Always check your purchase or reservation before it is confirmed by quantity, date and price.
  • The organization of FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships 2026 does not take back purchases. The conditions of the organisation of FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships 2026 are: in the event of cancellation, abandonment, cancellation or completion of a competition, the organisation of FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships 2026 cannot be held liable. The cost of the entrance fee will not be reimbursed.

 

HELP DESK

On the website of the event you will find the times at which the helpdesk is available to help you with questions and uncertainties.

 

LEGAL TRIAL PERIOD

The organization of FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships 2026 only sells timebound Tickets via its Website. As a result, these sales do not fall under the legal consideration period of 7 days within which a purchase can be canceled.

  • During FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships 2026, the in-house photographers will take photos of the event. Visitors can be captured on these photos. By accepting the Terms and Conditions, you agree to the use of photos in which you are recognizable.
  • The photo rights are purchased entirely from the in-house photographers. As a result, the organization of FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships 2026 owns the photos. The management of the photos is in the hands of TIG Sports.
  • The organization may post photos on the website and on social media channels to promote the event.
  • The organization shares photos with its partners and sponsors of FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships 2026.

HOUSE RULES

Rules have been established for the safety of everyone present on FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships 2026 terrain; Rotterdam Ahoy. These do not differ from other events in the Netherlands. Please read them carefully before coming to FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships 2026, because by attending FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships 2026 you automatically agree to these house rules.

 

ACCESS CONTROL
At FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships 2026 there is access control, for the safety of visitors and participants. During these checks, bags may be searched and checked. The following items are not allowed on FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships 2026 and will therefore have to be handed in or brought home at checks.

  • Pets (except assistance dogs),
  • Promotional materials such as flyers, brochures, banners (unless approved by and with permission from the organization),
  • sound and/or image recording equipment, with the exception of mobile phones (except with permission from the organisation)

The opinion of the security staff is binding. Anyone who enters FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships 2026 territory automatically indicates that they will cooperate with checks of clothing and bags. If prohibited items are found, you will be handed over to the police.

 

ALCOHOL

According to Dutch law, the sale of alcoholic beverages to persons under the age of 18 is not permitted, as is the consumption of alcohol by these persons. FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships 2026, like other events, does not deviate from this legislation and will therefore be monitored. You may be asked for identification. When the use of alcohol under the age of 18 is detected, the organization will take it.

 

DRUGS

Carrying or trafficking drugs are not allowed at FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships 2026. Bags and clothing may be checked by police or security guards.

 

UNDESIRABLE BEHAVIOUR AND CRIMINAL OFFENCES
Visitors are obliged to comply with regulations and/or instructions from the security staff. Instructions and/or orders given by or on behalf of employees of the organization must be carried out or complied with in full and immediately. If the security personnel or the organisation deems that your behaviour is undesirable, you may be denied access to FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships 2026. In the event of criminal offences, you will always be handed over to the police and a report will be filed.

 

SALE AND PROMOTION
Sale or promotion of goods and/or services on or around FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships 2026 grounds is not permitted without prior written permission from the organization.

 

PHOTOGRAPHY

It is forbidden to bring professional photographic, film and other recording equipment to the place where the Event takes place (except with the express permission of the organisation), under penalty of confiscation for the duration of the Event. The organisation does not accept any liability for confiscated or safeguarded items. Registration of the Event for professional purposes or distribution other than in the Ticketholders’ own private, social network, including photographing, filming and making (other) sound and/or image recordings, is prohibited, as well as reproduction of and/or copying from the program (booklet), posters and other printed matter. All such registrations will be confiscated and destroyed without further ado. Filming by means of smartphones and small recording equipment for personal use is permitted. When taking photos at the event site and all associated locations, pay attention to the situation of the person concerned.

 

CAMERAS IN THE STANDS
Cameras with a lens longer than 15 mm are not allowed in the stands, as they may obstruct the view of other visitors.

 

ANIMALS
Animals are not allowed on FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships 2026 terrain. This prohibition does not apply to guide dogs and assistance dogs.

 

CHILDREN
The organization of FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships 2026 advises parents to be aware of the situation on the ground. If you bring your children, take into account the uneven terrain, the size of the site and the large number of people present on the site, among other things.

 

OWN RISK
Entering FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships 2026 terrain is entirely at the visitor’s own risk. The organization of FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships 2026 is in no way liable for any damage caused to visitors and/or visitors’ property.

 

LOST AND FOUND
All lost and found items will be collected at the information desk during FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships 2026. At the end of FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships 2026, found objects will be taken to the TIG Sports office in Amsterdam.

 

CONFISCATED ITEMS
Items that are not allowed on FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships 2026 grounds will be confiscated and will be permanently lost. If necessary, they will be handed over to the police together with you.

 

URINATING IN PUBLIC
Of course, urinating in public is not allowed and the police hand out fines for this. Make use of the toilet facilities on site.

 

ACCESSIBILITY
The organization of FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships 2026 is doing its best to make the event accessible for wheelchairs. Toilet facilities for wheelchair users will also be provided. However, there is no guarantee that there will be space. Instructions from staff must be followed at all times.
