The Miffy World Championships Movement Festival
16 October 2026 | Rotterdam ahoy
Come and play, move, explore and have fun with Miffy and Nina!
Ahead of the Artistic Gymnastics World Championships, the miffy World Championships Movement Festival will take place at Rotterdam Ahoy on Friday 16 October. A fun and active day for all children aged 2 to 5 and their parents and caregivers. Admission is free! You will soon be able to get your ticket online.
Movement starts at a young age
Movement starts at a young age. From a child’s very first steps to major milestones such as learning to ride a bike, swim and write: movement provides the foundation.
The miffy Movement Diploma from the Royal Dutch Gymnastics Federation helps children discover basic movement skills in a playful way, while most importantly having lots of fun.
This year is extra special: we will award the 100,000th miffy Movement Diploma. And what better place to celebrate this milestone than at the miffy World Championships movement festival?
There’s lots to do!
During the festival, children can move, play, explore and, of course, have lots of fun.
- Rolling, jumping, climbing, balancing, throwing and much more
- Playing in the miffy playground
- Riding bikes on the traffic course
- Reading books and listening to storytelling sessions in the reading corner
- Enjoying performances and activities on stage
- Joining workshops together with your child, such as dancing and playful wrestling
- Taking a photo with miffy and nina
- Getting creative in the arts and crafts corner
- And much more!
Will you join in?
