Are you visiting the Artistic Gymnastics World Championships at Rotterdam Ahoy? We recommend travelling by public transport. Rotterdam Ahoy is easily accessible by bus, metro and train. Zuidplein metro and bus station is only a five-minute walk from the venue. Plan your journey easily via RET, NS or 9292.

Unable to travel by public transport? Please note that parking availability at Rotterdam Ahoy is limited and that there may be extra crowds around the venue. During the Artistic Gymnastics World Championships, Rotterdam Ahoy and its surroundings are expected to be busy. This may mean it takes longer to find a parking space.

Please note: roadworks and traffic measures
During the Artistic Gymnastics World Championships, roadworks and traffic measures will be in place in and around Rotterdam. This may cause additional traffic on certain days:
· 16–18 October: extra traffic around the Beneluxtunnel. The route from the Van Brienenoordbrug via Vaanplein to Ahoy will be closed.
· 19–23 October: extra traffic on the A15 motorway.
· 24 & 25 October: the A15 towards the Beneluxtunnel cannot be accessed from Ahoy.
Our advice: travel by public transport whenever possible. If you are travelling by car, plan your journey in advance and allow extra time for your trip and parking.

Where can I park at Rotterdam Ahoy?
If you cannot travel by public transport, you can purchase a parking ticket in advance via the Rotterdam Ahoy website. Alternatively, you can park at one of the Park & Ride (P+R) locations and continue your journey by metro. Convenient P+R locations include Slinge, Kralingse Zoom, Alexander, Capelsebrug, Hoogvliet, Meijersplein and Melanchtonweg. If you continue your journey with an OV-chipkaart, parking at P+R locations is free.
What should I consider if I travel by car?
During the Artistic Gymnastics World Championships, roadworks and traffic measures will be in place around Rotterdam Ahoy. This may cause additional traffic on certain days:
· 16–18 October: extra traffic around the Beneluxtunnel (allow approximately 30 minutes of additional travel time). The route from the Van Brienenoordbrug via Vaanplein to Ahoy will be closed.
· 19–23 October: travel times on the A15 motorway may increase by up to 30 minutes.
· 24 & 25 October: the A15 towards the Beneluxtunnel cannot be accessed from Ahoy.
